Every year several aspirants anticipate the notification and announcement of vacancies for the SBI Clerk position. However, before you apply, you need to understand the SBI clerk exam 2021 eligibility and provide suitable proof that fulfils the conditions so that your application is approved.

After the formal application process, you will receive the SBI clerk admit card to enable candidates to write the exams. The exams are conducted in two phases: a preliminary exam and a subsequent main exam.

Candidates should first clear the SBI clerk prelims exam to move on to the next phase – the SBI clerk Main exam and once you get through it, you will be called for the final interview process. Thus, it’s imperative to crack the SBI Clerk prelims and mains exam to proceed further in the selection process.

Here are some tips to help you ace the SBI Clerk Exam in 2021:

Know the Exam Pattern

To successfully crack the SBI clerk exams, you need to know the exam pattern of the concerned examination. First, the SBI clerk preliminary exams are conducted online. Even though the marks you secure in the prelims are not accounted for final selection, you have to clear the prelim cut-off marks to move ahead in the process

As implied by the name, the main exam is what is taken into account in the final selection process. The preliminary exam consists of three sections: English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning, with a total of 100 questions. At the same time, stage 2 main exam has four sections – English, Quantitative Aptitude, General/Financial Awareness, and Reasoning Ability/Computer Aptitude with a total of 200 questions.

Refer SBI Clerk Exam’s Previous Year Question Papers

The previous year’s question papers can give you a fair idea of what to expect. You can work out the solutions of those papers and compare them with the question papers available with answers for download from online portals. These papers can also serve as a mock test for you to practice and get better.

Make a Study Plan

After a detailed analysis of the exam pattern and the previous year’s question papers, you can develop a comprehensive study plan. In this plan, you can focus on areas that need more attention. For instance, you may be weaker in the quantitative or numerical section than in the English or language section. In this case, working out a plan to concentrate on topics that need more practice can give you an upper hand. Most importantly, allocate your time for all sections and study every topic so that you don’t miss out on anything and stay on top of all areas.

Study Current Affairs

The SBI Clerk Main Exam has a general awareness section that entails current affairs. So, stay updated on all current affairs in the finance sector by going through newspapers, magazines, or other notable books.

All in all, with proper preparations before the exam, you can crack the questions and obtain a good score. Before anything, ensure to pay due attention to the SBI clerk exam 2021 eligibility to provide adequate details when registering and appear for the exams.
